Actual Work Custom Field

Actual Work

The Actual Work custom field helps track the time that has been already spent by resource to complete the assigned task. For example, Miranda is assigned to 15 hours for the task "Write report", while the custom field Actual Work shows that the resource has spent only 9 hours.

to create custom field Actual Work please do the following:

1. Go to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button



2. in "Title" field enter "Actual Work"



3. in "Code" field enter "cf_actual_work"



4. in "Type" field select "Duration" and click "Ok" button



5. to display custom field Actual Work on Task List or Task Tree please go to Task List or Task Tree, click Task List Columns or Task Tree Columns button and check the custom field "Actual Work"



6. to enter value of custom field Actual Work please do the following:
• Open a task and go to Custom Fields tab



• Select the value of custom field Actual Work, for example 9 hours and click "Ok" button
