Business Phone Custom Field

Business Phone

Business Phone custom field shows the phone number of a company that refers to a task, resource, customer or any other stakeholder.  

To create custom filed "Business Phone" please follow the steps below:

1. Go to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button

2. In "Title" field enter "Business Phone"

      3. in "Code" field enter "cf_business_phone"

4. Select "String" in "Type" field and click "Ok" button. 

5. to display the value of custom field Business Phone on Task List or Task Tree please go to Task List or Task Tree, click Task List Columns or Task Tree Columns button   and check the custom field "Business Phone"

6. to enter the values for custom field "Business Phone" please do the following:

• Open a task and go to Custom Fields tab

• Enter the phone number in field "Business phone", for example, 1-415-952-5000

Based upon your needs you can also create the following custom fields:

• Main Company Phone
• Other Phone (to add additional phone number)
• Business Fax
• Other Fax (to add additional fax number)
