Importance
Importance custom
field shows the level of task priority. This custom field has three values:
High, Normal
and Low.
You can use
custom field Importance with values High, Normal
and Low if you would like to use the simpler priority system with 3 values
instead of VIP Task Manager build-in Importance pick-list with 6 values
(Urgent, Highest, High, Normal,
Low and Lowest).
To create
custom field Importance please follow the steps below:
1. Go to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins"
button
2.
In
"Title" field enter "Importance"
3.
In
"Code" field enter "cf_importance"
4.
In
"Type" field select "List".
- In Edit List item field select
the value number "1",
enter "High" in Title field and click "Ok" button
- Click "Add" button again,
select the value number "2",
enter "Normal"
in Title field and click "Ok" button
- Click "Add" button again,
select the value number "3",
enter "Low" in Title field and click "Ok" button
5. If you would like to have default value of
custom field Importance, for example, "Normal" you can check "Default value"
option and select the default value "Normal". Each time you create a task, it
will have the value "Normal".
6. to display the value of Importance custom
field or Task Tree please go to Task List or Task Tree, click Task List Columns
or Task Tree Columns button  and check the custom field "Importance"
7. to select the values for custom field Importance
please do the following:
- Open a task and go to Custom
Fields tab
- Select the values from
drop-down list for custom field Importance and click "Ok" button.
