This KPI
shows the total number of tasks that contain change requests. in terms of
product development change request is a formal proposal for changing the behavior of a system or program.
Among the purposes of using this KPI is to estimate whether the product requirements are well-defined
If you
need to count the number of change requests per product development project, you
need to do the following:
- Create
your custom workflow that will include task status "Request". If the task is a
change request you need to set it to Status "Request".
- Create
custom field "Change Request"
- Go to:
Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button
- In
"Title" field enter "Change Request"
- In "Code"
field enter "cf_change_request"
- In "Type"
field select "Integer"
- In Formula field
enter the following formula and
iif(ToString($status_name)= "Request",1,0)
Each time the task status is set to "Request", the value of custom field "Change Request" will be automatically updated to the value "1".
- To enable the displaying of the total number of change requests select the root task group and click "Custom fields options"
- In "Edit custom fields options" window
select the following options:
- select custom "Change Request"
- select "Enable"
- check "Aggregated (for task group)
- select "Sum" and the custom field name "Change Request"
- click "Ok" button
- To enable the displaying of the total number of change requests per parent task group select the parent task group and click "Custom fields options"
- In "Edit custom fields options" window select the following options:
- select custom "Change Request"
- select "Enable by parent"
