Total and Average Downtime KPI
Total and Average Downtime KPI is a project management key performance
indicator that measures the time the resources cannot work on project due to
circumstances beyond their control, for example, when a resource is not assigned
to project tasks; the materials are unavailable or there are power cuts off. This KPI is required to estimate total and
average downtime hours of your projects.
To define Total and Average Downtime KPI values please follow the steps
below:
- Create the
custom field "Downtime"
- To enable
the displaying of total and average value of this KPI select the root or
parent task group and click "Custom fields options"
- In "Edit
custom fields options" window select the following options:
- select custom field "Downtime"
- select "This Task Group" in the field "Settings for"
- select "Enable"
- check "Aggregated (for task group)
- to display the
total downtime hours for projects select
"Sum" and the custom field name "Downtime"
- to display the
average downtime hours for projects select "Average" and the custom field name
"Downtime"
