Total Deviation of Time in Projects
Total deviation of time in
projects is a key
performance indicator that shows the total duration variance (e.g. in days) expressed
as a difference between the originally planned duration and the currently
scheduled duration of all projects. This KPI helps to estimate the actual
duration of projects.
To
calculate total deviation of time in projects, please do the following:
- To enable the displaying of total
deviation of time in projects (Duration Variance) follow the steps
described at:
Duration Variance custom field
- To enable the displaying of the total
deviation of planned budget for task groups select the root task group and
click "Custom fields options".
- In "Edit custom fields options" window
select the following options:

custom field "Duration Variance"
- select "Enable"
- check
"Aggregated (for task group)
- select "Sum"
and the custom field name "Duration Variance"
- click
"Ok" button
