Total Work Custom Field

Total Work

Total Work custom field shows the time the task is estimated to take to be completed, for example, 168 hours.

To add custom field Total Work please follow the steps below:

1. Go to: Tools/Custom fields and press "Ins" button



2. In "Title" field enter "Total Work"



3. In "Code" field enter "cf_total_work"



4. in "Type" field select "Duration" and click "Ok" button



5. to display the value of custom field Total Work on Task List or Task Tree please go to Task List or Task Tree, click Task List Columns or Task Tree Columns button   and check the custom field "Total Work"



6. To enter the value for custom field "Total Work" please do the following:
   • Open a task and go to Custom Fields tab
   
   • Enter the time the task is expected to take in custom field "Total Work", for example, 48 hours
